All Mosquito Squad products are used according to the label and are registered with the EPA. Our class of products can be found in many household products like head lice shampoos, pet flea collars and sprays and many agricultural applications such as standard treatments for fruit and ornamental plants.

The ingredients have been scrutinized and tested for safety for consumer use when applied according to the label. Homeowners utilize our treatments to reduce the risks of contracting a vector-borne illness such as West Nile virus or a tick-borne illness such as Lyme disease, which can both cause lifelong health issues.

Mosquito Squad’s EPA registered product is kid and pet-friendly – all we ask is that you make certain the treatment is allowed to dry, which is approximately 30 minutes after application. Once the product is dry, it does not rub or wipe off easily, so children and pets can continue playing as they would normally, only without becoming a mosquito’s dinner.

First found in Uganda in 1937, WNV has spread globally. Its flu-like symptoms include fever, headache, and body aches. More serious symptoms include disorientation, muscle weakness, neck stiffness and more. Eighty percent of West Nile cases will never display any symptoms. West Nile virus cases are reported annually in both birds and humans in Wisconsin. Public Health officials encourage residents to take extra precautions against mosquitoes.

The heartworm takes residence in the host’s heart where it grows to impressive lengths. It is of the greatest concern in canines where it most frequently leads to serious repercussions.

It starts as a virus that usually resolves itself, but in the cases that it worsens, it can invade the central nervous system and cause encephalitis. Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) is the most common encephalitis and can affect humans and horses.

Eradicated in the US in the 1940s, malaria continues to kill millions in Africa each year. Malaria is both preventable and treatable. To help fight the spread of malaria, Mosquito Squad is a proud supporter of Malaria No More, a nonprofit working to make sure every family in Africa has timely access to the tools they need to prevent, diagnose and treat malaria.

Spread through the bite of an infected mosquito, the Zika virus is an emerging virus garnering much media-attention.
